Vilkår for brug
Brewwery er gratis open source-software, som den er og forefindes. Vilkårene forklarer licensen, den garanti du ikke får, og hvad der forbliver dit ansvar.

These terms
These terms cover this website and the Brewwery application distributed from it. By using either, you accept them. If you do not, the honest answer is simply not to use them — nothing here is locked behind an account.
The software and its licence
Brewwery is free and open source under the MIT License, and the MIT License is what governs your use, modification, and redistribution of the software itself. Where these terms and that licence disagree about the software, the licence wins.
The source code is public. You may read it, build it, fork it, and ship your own version, subject to the licence.
No warranty
Brewwery is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that it is free of defects, that it will suit your setup, or that it will always be available.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors and copyright holders are not liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the software or its use — including lost work, lost data, or a broken package installation. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
What you are responsible for
Brewwery runs Homebrew commands on your Mac at your instruction and shows you each command before it changes anything. What those commands do to your system is your responsibility, as it would be if you typed them yourself:
- the packages, casks, and taps you choose to install and trust
- backups of anything you cannot afford to lose
- complying with the licences and terms of the software you install
Homebrew and third-party software
Brewwery is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Homebrew project, Apple, or the maintainers of any package you install through it.
Homebrew, the formulae and casks it installs, and any service you start with it are governed by their own licences and terms. We provide an interface; we do not publish, vet, or warrant that software.
Name and brand
The MIT licence covers the code. The Brewwery name, logo, and wordmark are not part of it: please do not use them to present a modified build as the official one, or in a way that suggests we endorse your project. Referring to Brewwery by name — in an article, a comparison, a package description — is of course fine.
macOS, Apple Silicon, and Apple are trademarks of Apple Inc. Homebrew is a trademark of its respective owners. They are used here only to describe compatibility.
This website
The site is provided as is, without any guarantee of availability. Documentation and text on this site may be quoted with attribution; the screenshots and brand assets belong to the Brewwery project.
Changes
These terms may change as the project does. The current version always lives on this page, with the date it was last updated. Continuing to use the site or the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
